Logged on this morning to make a little update and to mention the new layout of Malbela coming soon. I notice as I log in that comments had been pretty active overnight.

Except it wasn’t you guys…

Oh how I hate Comment Spam. I went from 103 to 187 comments. Every single one spam.

For the time being, Comments are set to moderated. I’ll approval all nonspam ones, just like I always do. I just don’t have to time to delete 84 comments every day.

Thanks for understanding.

Oh… and this is what happens when you hotlink to an image on my site.

I’m just saying.

Please excuse the mess here at Malbela. I’ve been busy writing papers for English class. It’s amazing that one can sit down and write 15 pages and say nothing.

New look & more posts later this week. Plus the return of the miniblog & possibly the photoblog!

been working on a new layout for malbela the last few days, but no where near done yet.

So here’s a little style change to keep things interesting.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve set the comments to be approved before posting. This has nothing to do with the vast majority of people who leave me comments… even if I don’t agree with you on some things, I like hearing what you think.

What I don’t like is the 50 spam comments I’m getting a day. I swear they’ve gotten worse since I’ve gone to MovableType 3.0. For right now, since I haven’t been able to keep an eye on the comments, I’ve set them to be approved. They’ll switch back to regular posting soon since the spamming appears to have tapered off some.

I lost the new domain I wanted. By just a few minutes. ARGH!

I’m still working on the rebuilding of Malbela. It’s February, so just like last year, I had to have a major meltdown involving the website.

Jan-Mar of 2003 are up, but I lost Jan & Feb of 2004. Hope I didn’t say anything important.

Anyway, lots to do this weekend. I’ll be back later. Happy Feast of Lupercalus. May the person dressed as a goat beat you with the whip just hard enough.
